Im jealous of your restraint. I just got a house and am having trouble waiting a month, let alone A YEAR! I'm curious what opinions you've formed about some of the subs you've looked at with a year's worth of research. I've been researching for a week and from what I can tell you have looked at Hsu uls 15, svs pb 13 ulra, (SB13/16 ultra if they ever throw us a bone "later this week"
SubMersive and some others. What do you think about the pros and cons of these with your extensive research/auditions?
I could save a year if you could tell me what all you've learned/concluded thus far
i figure your decision will remain undecided until the release of the SVS SB's likely mine as well, but im curious to see what you think is #1,2,3 at this point (omitting the SB's for the moment)
I wont be waiting anymore im getting the sub25 from paradigm. I will be ordering it next week. I have waited this long for many reasons, the main one was the wife.
Plus for me since $$$$$ does not come so easily I had to make sure which sub was the best sub, and of course you pay for what you get.
It was very hard waiting this longtrust me but i have learnerd soo much from everyone even thou i might have asked the same thing over and over in the beginning. In the beginning i would never have thought i was going to spend over $1000 on a sub.
from the top 3 subs i have heard it was a tie for me with the submersive and the sub 25 give or take some extra pluses i had with the sub 25 over the sbmersive after that the F113. I also heard the pb13 at the dealer here in canada.
from the specs for the svs sub it dioes not look like it will out perform the sub25 or the F113. The submersive was very impresive as well the sb16 will not even get close to that sub either from the specs point of view.
If you cant afford the sub25 then my reccomendation is the submersive. either of these 2 subs will make you very happy they both left big smiles on my face
I wish i was able to hear the sub2 in action but that could be a future purchase or another sub25 or the new submersive mark has in the works it has dual 18 inch drivers. Only time will
