Should AVS member j-bo dismantle his projector, take pics and create a tutorial on how to replace the polarizers? Think carefully before you vote - this is serious stuff, folks!

Please take pictures and explain how you do it, if you take it apart. It would be interesting to see and could save some people money on repairs ibn the future. I wish I could find some one who knows how to make the hard start repair on the Sony Ruby this would be very usefull since I sent mine in twice under the extended warranty and they couldnt figure it out.

Don't you need an alignment tool to do this correctly? I have some experience with projection TV's and I remember it was hit and miss with this type of surgery?
