I'm glad you asked. Out of pure desperation I tried serialmike's General settings which are used for viewing TV and was shockingly surprised. I am now able to play video games with excellent picture quality while using the in-game
default brightness settings! His TV settings are actually
better than his Gaming settings, for whatever reason.
