Excuse me, but I paid my hard earned cash for the LG BD570, which they built defectively. We have all collectively wasted who knows how many hours trying to figure out the solution to this problem on our own, then more time dealing with LG's customer service, troubleshooting, downloading, rebooting. Not to mention the frustration.
The LEAST they can do is replace our BD570 with a machine that works PERIOD. Free would be if they refunded my money AND sent me the BD670 with check for $100.00 for my trouble.
This is a marketing nightmare. Word will get out. Eventually this will mar their reputation which will cost them far less than setting up a replacement program for the BD570.
We need to ALL call their customer service and complain collectively, or we are just kicking the can down the road. Right now I have wi-fi and my Blu-rays play at 60Hz, but that is a compromise at best.
United we can force them to address this problem the way ANY reputable company would: REPLACE WITH NEWER FULLY FUNCTIONAL MODEL NO QUESTIONS ASKED. POSTAGE PAID. OR NONE OF US SHOULD EVER BUY LG AGAIN. EVER!
