I'm looking for a 55"-60" LCD LED TV to use as a primary TV. Mostly cable (via Tivo), some DVDs, occasional games.
I'm a big Costco fan so here are my options:
a) Vizio M550SV $1199.99. 240Hz, apps,, wifi.
b) Sharp LC-60LE633U $1349.99. 240Hz, apps, wifi.
c) LG 55LV4400 $899.99 120Hz, no apps or wifi
d) Sony KDL-55EX621 $1299.99 wifi capable, 120Hz.
My thinking is this - Apple will have something out in the next 12 months, so I don't want to spend a fortune on this. I have Tivo for Netflix, as well as AppleTV, so I don't need the TV to be "smart". What I want is the best quality and picture for the price.
I'm thinking of trying the LG and if it can handle sports OK, keeping it.
One drawback of Costco is you can't really test the TVs adequately in the store.
Reviews on all the above are fairly scarce, so I thought I'd check here.
Thanks in advance.
