2. Seating distance
probably 10' or more, but location dictates my screen size so it isn't a major factor.
3. Size/placement limitations
-Will be wall mounted over a fireplace mantle bump-out.
4. Uses and sources
-Netflix, HBO GO, MLB.tv.
-hardwired ethernet capable.
-HD Cable Box
5. Room lighting
-There will be large windows and a patio door on (1) side wall; pendant lights behind viewers.
-3D isn't huge at this point, but a viable tie-breaker.
-Picture quality is important to us.
I've read the threads and think I'm ready and willing to deal with East Coast TV.
The main two we are debating are the Samsung UN60F8000 and the UN65F8000. The 60" is $1895 and the 65" is $2475. The 3rd that we haven't looked at in person is the 70" Sharp LC70LE857 for $2284.
Is it worth considering the Sharp or are the Samsung's far superior?
Is it worth the $580 to make the jump from the 60" to the 65"?
