Why can't I program a button to scale 16:9 TV in MPC-HC?

Thread Starter
In MPC-HC there's a Pan&Scan option to "Scale to 16:9 TV". However there is no way to program a simple button on the keyboard to get that option.

My workaround for now is to use the "increase height" & hit that button a few times to fix it for 2.35 movies in my Anamorphic setup.

Any ideas?

I'd like to know too. I use an Ipod Touch wi-fi remote, and I hate having to switch to the mouse function to right click to select this option (running MPC on my 1024x768 plasma).

I do the same thing for my Lens/Anamorphic setup.

Having video size presets selectable via hot-key would be awesome. Also filter setup per sub-type would be another big plus.

I'm doing this via Event Ghost, my remote is a PDA running NetRemote. I found an updated plugin for Event Ghost where someone had added the "Scale to 16:9" function.

You could also ask the MPC-HC guys to add a keyboard shortcut for that function into a future version.

this is finally fixed if anyone is still interested

https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mpc-hc/ticket/355

you can get the executable in that link. then in the player history you can check save pan and scan setting, I just tried it, it works. executable is in like 3rd comment.
