Is Bioware quietly saying ME3 face generator engine isn't capable to produce the fan voted Shepard? The new default in-game female Shepard isn't the same "face" as the fan voted one.

It looks to me in-game FemShep, her face is design isn't as detailed as the fan voted version. She has shorter hair. I guess Bioware just unable to pick one default/official FemShep.

Looks the same to me too. The one in the ad is obviously pre-rendered so there's finer details there, but she looks the same down to the way her strands of hair fall.

Maybe the fan voted and in-game FemSheps look different to me because of Male Shepard. In-game default male Shepard has always look very close to the pre-rendered male Shepard. Then, again he has very short haircut and rougher face which makes it easier to render in-game with closer details.

The ONLY Shepard I've played is the female one, and I was hoping they wouldn't screw with the way she looked. She reminded me of Julianne Nicholson from (among other things) Law & Order: Criminal Intent and I was very happy. It won't kill me if that changes a lot, but I will notice...

If you import your character doesn't that include appearance? So you would get a Femshep close to what you used to(though no doubt with a graphic upgrade).

Hopefully you can still modify the character's looks, as well as import from ME2. Personally, I don't like that prerendered femshep pic.

I think its just a normal Tuesday release plan that wasn't probably well thought out by EA.

Yep. Christmas is a morning, thanksgiving is an afternoon and new years is an evening, but valentines is ALL DAY LONG.
