Mass effect 3 - Page 53

The reeger still seemed to destroy on gold, but I used the extended clip and some equipment. Without equipment I would sing a different tune. It took out shields/barriers super fast, but was weak against armor without AP mod.

That Adept bothers me. Singularity and Lash are the only powers that worked reliably. I'd stand there, completely cooled down, and push the left button for Smash and often nothing would happen, enemy nearby or not. That put me on the ground a bunch so I used a respec card and eliminated Smash. Reasonably OK after that, but his power tossing in a Gold match (not my idea, again) on Firebase Dagger was too slow IMHO from cover. He'd pop up, the power would leave, then he'd HANG there for a second and occasionally get mauled by a rocket or something. Never really played Adept to know if this is common, since cards are why they were at 20 before.

As soon as I get Adepts back up to 20, he's history...

I unlocked the new assault rifle and the quarian male engineer. Both are very good. The assault rifle is full auto and packs alot of punch but is offset by only a 20 round clip (at level one).

I specced the engineer for full tac scan and incinerate with 3 points in the arc grenades. I also got the upgrade kit for assault weapon damage and extra grenades so I get a +3% damage for assault weapons and carry 4 grenades.

The grenades do a wicked amount of damage when paired with the tac scan. The tac scan is basically a Damage over Time debuff. What is cool is it shows a large round circle around the tagged enemy and you get a holo version with distance to the target on your omni-blade. The tagged enemy takes more damage and is slowed.

On the downside, because I put points in grenades, I only went 4 levels into fitness which makes him a little squishy imo. I wanted the power I could always use rather than have to deal with running out of grenades.

The delivery missions require some real teamwork now.

Oh, I also noticed that many times when I'd throw my arc grenades, the explosion animation was absent but damage was taken.

I got the Adept with my first purchase. I agree the singularity and lash are pretty good. Smash does not seem to pack enough punch to justify the animation. It does look really cool though. I only got the character up to 14 so maybe it does something else at a higher level.

last the animation is you throwing and then pulling that's why you stay out of cover for a second

Just checked my manifest and noticed that I got the Ex-Cerberus Vanguard. Guess I'll give him a shot, though I'm not a big vanguard fan.

Are the victory/commendation packs out for the operation yet? If so, what did people get?

I actually won something once - a US Marines xbox 360 sticker/decal. I had no idea why I got it till I realized I had entered into a contest months prior. Gave i to one of my students since I hate putting stickers on things.

My Victory pack had some Krysae (sp?) Sniper Rifle. Got my cast this morning, I'll be in it for 4 weeks - it does give me better range of motion than the splint did. Actually, it gives me better grip with a controller than just about anything else - toothbrush, razor, shoelaces, etc.

You should just stick with ME and forget about basketball. We're more fun anyways.

Yeah two whips of awesomeness that have a huge range. Run up, crack the whips, and biotic charge when out of shields.

A few years back, I was mailing in extries to these things when they were easier to find on the Xbox website.

Won 16,000 MSP one time. Had new Arcade games for quite a while...

Same with me around that time. Everyone lost communications while in the battle.

I think the Reapers finally figured out the best way to stop the resistance is knock out all the communications relays across the galaxy. With no comm, no one knows what is going on and no one can call for help if they got attacked by the reapers. Even Shepard is screwed if he/she is planning to launch the final attack now because there's no way to know the EMS.

Just played a game and was dropped in (Bronze, fortunately) so it's not perfect out there yet.

Is there a cure for a wandering left stick? Doing some objectives I've had it cancel on me when I 'moved'. I was playing now and noticed when I stood still, I wasn't STILL. This is my original controller, so I'll probably try the newer one (second purchased 360) to see if the B button issue was software or not, but I'd like a fix short of another purchase...

Sticks eventually become loose and wander after much use. Buy a new one.
