Back in March, the Galactic Readiness only decayed by 1% in a day. Now, it decays by 1% within 2 hours.

Has anyone ever had the audio become loud static? I was dropping into a Bronze game, heard normal sound that the objective wave was starting, then static so loud that I had to rip off my headset and unplug it kicked in. HDTV audio was complete static too, for 5 waves. Game ended, my menu came back, all normal again. Did reboot the 360 before the next game. No repeat.

Never had any audio issues before. Not sure what happened...

I just do the data pad app once or twice a day and my readiness stays up.

I know what gets unlocked when you buy the pack supposed to be random.

Over the weekend, I added 6 more Gamertag accounts to ME3 to see what the Victory Pack and Free Pack unlocks. Interestingly, the later accounts that I added to ME3 unlocked better characters, weapons and start at Level 4. Just random luck, maybe.

The Gamertag account that I have been playing ME3 MP since the game came out never unlocked many good characters or weapons even I spent a lot of credits. But my "new" Gamertag that just joined ME3 MP already locked Vorcha and Human Adept with lesh. Maybe pure luck but my 1st Gametag seems to suck coming to unlocking better stuff.

Anyone playing with multiple Gamertags in ME3 MP? If so, are you seeing like my accounts?

What is up with Vorcha Sentinel throwing flame? I have to press LB button twice to start the flame like I have to click on a starter in the Vorcha's mouth. If I try to start the flame in front of the enemies especially as they start to attack back, it's very hard to properly get the flame going. Since the flame has very limited range, using the claws are more practical and guaranteed to kill quickly than stare at the enemies and unable to start the flame. Is there a consumable called alcohol mouth wash that makes it easier to start the flame?

Were you even slightly stunned by the enemies? Any time I'm even just a little hurt, I can't do much of anything including run. Shields refuse to regenerate, Overload cooldown increases, stuff like that.

I don't recall it being that bad in earlier days...

Yes. Since I use my Vorcha for close up attack, the enemies usually stun back. Since Vorcha has fast regeneration, he can take quite a bit of abuse from the enemies. It would be cool if Vorcha is available as a squadmate in the single player. Bioware can say the Vorcha was rescued by Shepard in one of the missions and the Vorcha becomes a companion.

(If anyone played Final Fantasy XIII-2, the game doesn't bother to explain why most enemies you defeated can become your usable squadmate. Even Lightning character that you can defeat becomes your squadmate which is fake because you still meet the real Lightning. We debate so much over ME3 ending and yet no one complains the FF XIII-2 everyone dies ending with to be continued.)

So I'd say try starting the flame before you get hit. It MIGHT work better...

Question for those that have played ME3 in Insanity difficulty.

Which is the most practical class? Since anyone class can carry a sniper, Infiltrator class is the most important. The nice thing with Sentinel is 2nd layer of shield helps under heavy battle. Sentinel also has Overload and Warp abilities which are handy if Shepard is out of ammo. Infiltrator cloaking is nice but if enemies are every where, there is no safe place to hide. Solder is tougher but no power ability.

I want the Valiant to get a perk or two. Not one change in it so far per that page.

I'll settle for a 6-shot clip...

The valiant is already pretty powerful because of how fast it shoots and reloads, a buff may push it into the overpowered category.

Operation MASTIFF (June 8th-10th)
We are dropping the new reinforcements onto occupied worlds to supplement resistance movements. Retrieving data of how the Reapers conquered those worlds is of paramount importance.

Allied Goal: Complete 100K retrieval missions.
Personal Goal: Extraction on Silver difficulty with one squad member of the Rebellion Pack classes: Vorcha, Phoenix Project Defectors, or Quarian Male.
Special Circumstance: None.

Completion of the personal goal awards that player a Commendation Pack.
Completion of the Allied goal awards all players a Victory Pack that has a guaranteed N7 weapon.

Operation Mastiff begins at 6pm PST Friday June 8th and ends at 4am PST Monday June 11th.
Packs will be distributed Tuesday evening if the mission is successful.

Edit per mikepauls below post: The Rebellion Pack squad member does NOT have to be the one who extracts. They just have to participate in the mission and at least one squad member has to extract.

The Victory Pack now has the N7 weapon instead of the Commendation Pack. Interesting. Or maybe there's an N7 in both packs?

The Valiant and the Black Widow are two different kinds of N7.

I think it's one of each...

So far, I only got N7 Hurricane SMG which is the most useless weapon. It's more like a joke given to new recruits to see if any one can hit anything with the gun will not shoot straight at high rate. Must be Shepard's 1st gun when promoted to N7.

PRECISELY where I want it to be.

The penetration mod makes a huge difference though. On Bronze I can down a Guardian through the shield in 2 shots. Gold took at least 6 for some. Ergo the 6-shot clip...

The hurricane is my favorite promotional N7 weapon. Use it with the turian soldier maxed for stability, shoot debuff proximity mines at regular targets followed by steady flow of hurricane bullets, and use marksman on boss targets (proximity mine->marksman->shoot). Equip armor piercing ammo and stability mods and you will destroy.

Ummm, apparently not...

"N7" means the Promotional weapons like the Valiant...
There were four N7 weapons that came with ME3 Collector's Edition: Valiant, Crusader, Hurricane, Eagle. These can be played in singleplayer. I think the confusion is thanks to the ultra-rares showing "N7" on the stripe.

Speaking of ultra-rares, I purchased 10 PSP the other day and got ZERO new guns. I have all classes now, and all rares to X, but not even a single freakin' ultra-rare. Only one piece of gear. At this point, I'm prettymuch done with the game aside from playing with my wife and the promo weekends. I think I'm also going to try to only buy spectre packs to see if I get more gear that way.

And good timing for this weekend - my wife just completed her first silver extraction a couple days ago!
According to that link we will receive two promotional N7 weapons if we accomplish both the allied and personal goals. Good deal.

Good tip. With a stable weapon, I never have the need to upgrade Turian's Marksman. I think N7 Hurricane SMG must be a gift from Garrus to Shepard to ensure Shepard can't beat him in target practice. Don't you think it will be funny in the single player when Garrus took Shepard to a target practice and then gave Shepard a Hurricane SMG as the only weapon allowed for their target practice match?

I at least have unlocked all but the newest ultra-rare, the Harrier. Everything less than ultra-rare is all X'd out. Today's PSP had two already-seen gold character cards. At least I have one new character to use in case of emergency this weekend.

As far as 'done', I'd still like to get better so I can play Gold. Maybe a different character would help, but I need a combination of toughness and killing power that just hasn't made itself visible to me yet. GE kills just fine, as I've topped a few of the Silver games I've been in. As with the weapons, in my hands the characters perform worse than they do for others. Maybe I'll stick with it, maybe not...

Krogan Vanguard, max barrier, max fitness, max charge. Equip with Claymore, choke, damage.

Vorcha Soldier, max health regen, fitness, flamer. Equip with Regar, clip, damage.

Either are very tough and do a good deal of damage. Though keep in mind that Gold is more about not getting hit than soaking up damage...
I use reegar with shredder and armor piercing ammo with krogan vanguard. Fast cooldown so I can replenish barrier whenever, and the reegar tears everything up with the armor piercing buffs. It can get you in trouble with insta-deaths though mad.gif

For those who plan on carrying packages this weekend: adrenaline mod helps a lot, especially on geth and drell adept, of course.

And THERE we have it. I'm one of those people the folks who post on the BioWare site gripe about: always down because something I didn't see clobbered me.

It's even worse than before. Today I was just walking down a ramp in a Bronze game and with NO warning I was down and sliding on the ramp. I assume something hit me, but what it was and where it came from I'll never know. Anytime three enemies are together now, they stagger their shots just enough to put me down. And JUST me. People next to me, no problems.

I just unlocked Quarian Engineer in a SP so maybe I'll take it on a run. If it's no tougher, I'll go back to my Geth...

Mike I have to say I admire the way you keep plugging away at this game. Your like the kickass superhero of masseffect 3 multiplayer. Anyway have you given the human sentinel a shot? Seriously, you can be damm beefy and dish out tons of damage with the warp/throw combo. Go 6/6/6/0/6 and make sure to get the cool down reduced penalty at the end of the tech armor tree and the larger biotic explosions on the warp and throw trees. Then equip only one fairly light weapon to minimize your cooldowns. Hit'em with warp first and then throw. Between warp and throw always look around a bit to make sure no one is sneakin up on you.

Thanks.

I haven't tried that one yet. Once I got good at the Geth Engineer I developed a dependency on the turret to back me up, like tossing it behind a Guardian in the days before I could just 2-shot it. Even now, I ran with the Male Quarian Engineer and think he has possibilities, but running out of grenades is just lame compared to an infinite supply of turrets that fry big things given time. Tactical scan has its moments, like showing the enemies around the target in a nod to Hunter Mode, and it works through walls so I can target what I want. Only seeing enemies like everyone else sees them is limiting, though, when they used to be red. I'll probably play it this weekend so every team I'm on qualifies for the challenge. After that, I'll probably try some others. Geth Engineer with Hunter Mode and my buddy the turret will be waiting for the auditions to fail.

I've decided to give up on PSPs now that I've unlocked all the weapons I'd consider carrying: Harrier is all that's left. What I need is the gear, which you CAN get from Veteran packs. Two SPs after playing 8 Bronze games will probably give better results than one PSP after 7. If only they considered grenades and SMGs to be companion weapons...
