Can't beat any of you but my shameless time spent are:
On X360:
Time played:
78H 5M 42S
Games played:
280
Current Credits:
391,050
(Sure felt I spent more time on Multiplayer).

On PS3:
Time played:
29H 46M 6S
Games played:
105
Current Credits:
74,486

Doesn't include other accounts I played on.

Would be cool if it includes total credits spent and total classes promoted to N7. I know it's visible when you are in multiplayer on total classes promoted to N7.

One thing is nice now if after you promoted your classes, it keeps the characters names in the class.

I knew they changed a lot but I had no idea they were going to revamp some of the older maps. I mean this is the kind stuff I would expect in a sequel not a revamp of an on going game. I got caught in the reactor last night and I saw this big ball of light and I was down. I was like what the heck just hit me. I can not wait to really dig into some of the changes this weekend.

Where did you guys pull this manifest information? I'd love to see my own.

The Collectors are tough, even on Bronze on pub games we never got past round 6. I'm not sure if it's just because they seem very different than the other enemies, but it seemed like the groups I was playing with always got overwhelmed, and I'd be stuck on my own against a flood of bad guys.To that point, it seems that the overall number of enemies has increased with the new spawn points. Has anyone noticed this?

The dynamic maps are awesome. One game last night had the download spot be in the reactor. We kept having to bolt out at the last second so we didn't get cooked, and then rush back in to start the download again. It really added to the excitement.

I saw a player that had a gold bar on his name (where it shows how many times you've leveled up your player) that had a gold trophy in it and the number "120". His N7 level was 40. Any clue what that gold bar/trophy/120 was?

How is that sad? Often times I had to use a re-spec card to get rid of that one point.

That's challenge points kinda like achievement inside the game.

Omega DLC will be $15 and all the excuses Bioware has to say why:
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/bioware-cuts-content-from-mass-effect-3-and-offers-it-as-dlc-for-13-of-the-games-full-price/

The real question Bioware isn't asking is how many percent of ME3 fans care to go back and play a "missing" chapter with the same conclusion to the endings? With Mass Effect trilogy coming out, the Omega DLC is almost the price of one of the ME games.

A theory I have on the reason ME3 high prices on story based DLCs. With the original short ending of ME3 issues, Bioware had to eat up the cost of trying to fix the ending with Extended Ending DLC. While that semi helps because to some gamers, the damage is done. It's possible all the multiplayer DLCs are given free to further sweeten the bad taste from the original ending. I was surprised Bioware keeps giving us more MP DLCs for free even after 6 months later. Now, Bioware needs a way to make up the cost of the damage control free Extended Ending DLC and free MP DLCs. Since making the "missing" chapters from the "cutting floor" is the obvious choice, they have to charge it at very high price for the DLCs. And Bioware knows not as many ME fans will buy the story DLC because the story of Shepard has already ended.

I still say move forward and create story driven DLC that is about post-ME3 if Bioware wants me to consider buying ME3 DLC. Multiplayer is fun but I feel like stuck in the time loop where the war never ends which never leads to the final moments of ME3 story.

How is it that they sell consumables for money in the game and people still can't figure out why they give free multiplayer updates? Here's a hint: Google Freemium.
BW is probably afraid to release new stories for ME3, in favor of creating an ME4.

I thought of the same. But it's a good way to flash out smaller stories to see what gamers like before making ME4. I still think the stories of the special N7 fighters from MP can be a good one.

The changes they made to this game are amazing. Multi-player feels fresh again, everything feels new. Cool new enemies, map are changed just enough to make it interesting. well done!!!!!!!!

Besides the Freeium model they still have multiple versions of the game coming out this holiday so the free updates also add to the content that is going to be available for those "new" products. These kind of free updates were what people who bought Battlefield 3 were expecting when that game launched so it could have been an EA initiative that was launched last year.

I've loved it. If people want to spend money on packs good for them it's not competitive multiplayer it's co-op so those players aren't getting an advantage they are making it easier for me. I've got so much added content for $0.

If you need the entire ME trilogy, Newegg has it pre-order for $48 with code: EMCJNJD242

X360:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?SID=s4T3MBeuEeKu1h7tkVD5Sg4kN_0_svJ_0_0&AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16874105754

PS3: Unclear if this has gone official release or what DLCs get included such as ME2 DLCs. But it supposed to include ME1.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?SID=4Bqa1BeuEeKZJUbtKdxlyg4kN_0_svJ_0_0&AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16879200879

Remember, at least on X360 version, none of the released DLCs is included. Not even the free DLCs. The trilogy version probably recycles the same retail discs with a new packaging.

I checked at EA site but unable to find any info regarded ME Trilogy for PS3.

Since I've just been looking for an Operation to do to upgrade my Valiant, is that procedure now dead?

The Valiant is still 'Promotional' on the Manifest but now so is the Black Widow. I'm guessing there's now a Valiant card to find? And I'd just have to set aside Borderlands 2 and play *often* to get it, like any other pedestrian weapon?...

Should be an op this weekend.

Update on Weekend Challenges

"Hey Folks,

As we are now implementing the weekend challenge system, the method for running them is a much smaller scale.

Each challenge consists only of an individual challenge or squad goal. There will no longer be a requirement to organize the entire community for an overall allied objective.

This eliminates the need for fanfare and announcements three days prior to the challenge itself.

It is a much more streamlined system and allows us to implement one each week.

This is not to say we are doing away with the large scale military operations. In these cases, when we run the larger ops, we will give a three day lead time.

Cheers"

I actually liked the big "releases", kinda made you feel like you were a part of something bigger.

I noticed the last couple of nights I couldn't get into a single Silver or Gold game, all I could find was Bronze. Not that I don't mind playing Bronze, but since the enemies are fairly low level, it basically turns into 4 rogue players running around doing their best to get as many kills (XP) as they can.

Last night I unlocked the Volus Engineer, and was surprised at how good he is.

If there are any players in this forum who'd like to hit some Silver games with me, hit me up. I play fairly late, typically 10:30-midnight PST.

Weekend Challenge - Operation BLOODLUST (Oct. 19th – 21st)

The krogan continue to be formidable allies. We will be lending the krogan army assistance in their next series of strikes against the Reapers.

Squad Goal: Earn one gold melee-medal fighting as a krogan on any map at any difficulty.

Squad Goal Success: All squad members awarded a Commendation Pack.

http://blog.bioware.com/2012/10/11/a-tour-of-the-new-n7-hq/

Edit: Bioware provides some horribly misleading details. Only the krogan who gets 50 melees gets the achievement. All members of the squad don't.

Edit 2: Extraction is not required.

So, each team member is expected to kill 50 enemies via melee in one game? It's not like I saw all that many 50-Kill badges at the end of most games I played...
It's an individual challenge, so you get the reward right when you get the medal. I assume most people will go into bronze or silver and melee everything until they earn the medal.

You must play as Krogan to be qualified for the goal.

It will be an amusing scene as most players will melee the enemies. Also stay close to revive others as some of the players may get shot down trying to melee the enemies.
why revive them? If you're trying to get 50 melee kills, you don't want 4 krogan all meleeing everyone.
