You think everyone at Enron was crook? Do you realize how easy it is to run a company, be a crook with out anyone knowing? The employees are innocent and its foolish opinion to conclude anything else, sorry. I have seen a company run by a crook first hand, you have NO idea its happening!!
You're missing the point that for months the man's and company's antics were common knowledge. You somehow imply that nobody had any idea that anything was wrong with Schift/av666.con. I find that notion amusing lol
Take the guy, Kyle I think it was, who was doing the dirty job of censoring their forums, who was banning people left and right for the only affront of posting their ongoing issues with the company. About their issues with the defective products, the stolen charity money, and all that stuff. So he was unaware of all these issues? lmao. Give me a break.
Karma didnt get them fired, bad luck did (What an arrogant opinion to think its Karma). Why not work for someone that seemed to be an incredible guy? You live with blinders on and do not realize who good crooks can be to people around them. Its hard to spot or know the difference at all and people need to work, get paid, feed their family more then worrying about rumors about ethics. Look for a job, are you stupid or just slow?? The economy sank BEFORE this happened, there are no other jobs...geesh!! Not everyone is lucky like you but I guess again that is a karma thing.
Ah ok then. If they were unable to find another job in the 12 months or whatever they had between when they became aware of the events surrounding the man and the company, then I guess it's sad for them to have lost the only job they could find in this hard economy... I won't assume it was the case, but if it was, it's sad for that person who looked hard for another job and was unable to quit working for this POS company and crook because she was unable to find a job. Must have been a real pain in the ass to have to work there because that was the only possibility for that person. Anyhow, it's a possibility, I'm not saying it's impossible that this happened, but it might not have been the case either.
Btw, keep your insults for yourself.
As for the comment about ethics, I bought a lot of products from AV123 over the years. I found them to have great value and very, very good looks. WAF over true performance. Now I have no ethics because I bought AV123 products??? WTF? Say that to my face and you will know real anger and Karma!!
oooh, I tremble... lol When did you buy them, after or before you know about the charity frauds and all? Before? Well there you go, if you bought it after, and didn't mind purchasing products from a crook, then I don't care what you say that reflects poorly on you.
A lot of people were had by av666.con. Their sales schemes were scams imho. Take the Ref1, what was its price, 1599$ or something? Then a couple months later, same **** sold (with different finish), with a 999$ tube amp, for a total of 999$? Must have been great for the one who bought it full price... Same for most of their products. Anyone buying anything retail was had. Others bought stuff which never worked right... Or never saw the light of day. Anyhow, it was always a Schifty company. You might have never seen anything wrong with it, might have had no issue with hype, with the raised charities, with the santa shifter sales, or anything else, and I guess that's that... But imho, the fact that people didn't realize that they were being manipulated or scammed doesn't change the fact that they were.
If they voluntarily purchased stuff from a known crook, it's not ethical in my book. It's akin to purchasing stolen goods, or blood diamonds. You don't mind encouraging and helping out the bastards, and so, even if the buyer didn't directly participate in the crime, he still benefited from it and so share some responsability. Anyhow, I guess some will never see eye to eye on this. Or more, some would rather close their eyes on some things...
Sorry but you are lacking any common sense at this point, your emotions (hatred) is simply controlling what you post. I would hate to think you are the sort of person that would kick a person when they are on the ground but your posts say you will. You lack any sort of human compassion if this is true and if you talk about Karma and believe it lets just say Karma has a funny way of getting everyone
You seemed highly emotional yourself with your insults and your threats. Honestly, I've been watching the whole fiasco from the side for a long time. Look at my registration date, didn't take long for av666.con to make me raise my eyebrow. I was even once tempted to get the Ref1 and tube amp for 1000$, even one of their subs at one time. But then, as time passes, if you watch closely, you can see things for what they are (ridiculously inflated MSRPs), and it was pretty evident at one point with the Schifter buffoon that something was up, although I had no idea of the true extent.
Like the charities, I thought it was evident that it was a PR stunt, but I never expected that he simply pocketed the money. But a ton of av666.con fanboys would have stoned me to death had I posted that on the av666.con forums. That he didn't do it because it was kind and generous, just because it was cheap, easy marketing and that it would generate some sales and simply in the end generate him money. It was simply a plot to look good and have people buy his products. I said it before, it was like a sect out there... It was scary. So compassion for those who participated in av666.con's antics and those who still worked for the company today, is rather slim, I must admit. And I said so earlier, if you participated in the hype and all their crap, ex: trying to discredit anyone not hyping, then you were part of the problem. And today, you should think about that, and being careful in the future not to be exploited in the same way.
But I think many won't do that exercise, rather blast me and my lack of compassion than looking back and thinking about how they fit in the whole thing...Anyhow, I'm out, said my peace. Peace! (pm me if u want to continue this discussion)
And btw, how it works in Canada, if you just quit your day job on a whim, you don't get any unemployment, although for av666.con, it might have been a special case because of all their illegal activities and frauds (G2 prepayments). But my point, if it works the same way as in Canada, company closes, they get unemployment, if they quit, they don't. So again, not a bad thing for them. If I was in a situation where I had no choice but to keep working in that hell hole because I couldn't find another job and couldn't quit because I'd get no unemployment, then I'd thankful that they finally closed down, that I'd be able to get unemployment and be able to find a better job.
