The only thing I'm confused about is why people (like Arlo) were so ready to kill to protect Shelby/Thompson. I mean, it's one thing to have someone ask but to kill them for asking? There's something we must be missing because right now the way people treated the secret just doesn't add up.

Or... am I missing something? (it's happened before)

It appears that Drew distributed a sh!tload of $$$ in the local economy-remember him telling Boyd that he helped his dad and the entire economy benefited from Shelby's $$$ and the resulting drug traffic. I suspect that the price Harlan locals paid for the economic uptick was an Omerta type oath

this has the potential for helicopter mini guns biggrin.gif . A Justified Warriors replay? With a modified Escape From New York exit? Maybe Raylon shaves his head and reaches for his inner Hitman.

I am suspending disbelief right now. Bring in Olga Kurylenko as a hit woman and I'll be in heaven.

I don't know what will happen, but it has got to be good. The episodes leading to this have been excellent. Bring it on.

No buzz kill at all - good to think about consistency and not having Justfied jump that shark.

I am looking forward how a great show like this fits in all of these angry characters getting at each other in a small space though.

Well, we still have Tim's justified killing of Colt to look forward to. The Detroit #2 is developing into a good enough heavy that I wonder if he is going to survive to torment us further or whether Ava, Boyd or even Johnny will dispatch him?
