Well I'd definitly be sitting around 9 feet away that's for sure. And I'd be using this 42C450 for the Wii, Bluray, DVD's and alittle PS3. Yet I'm just so anal and a bit of a perfectionist regarding PQ. I'm worried about gaming lag for the Wii, and
having to deal with Plasma's inferior(yet close to CRT) motion and of course an upscaled image. But it sounds like the blacks are fantastic on this set as well as the color so that's great.
But eh, I'm still clinging to my 32" Sony Wega CRT SDTV...The PQ is amazing for the Wii when using component cables. The Color and Motion is amazing, there's zero lag and no upscaled image obviously. And the black levels while good could be a tad better but they're still great. Yet I'm missing out on Progressive scan and Widescreen which I'd love. And of course for Bluray I'd love 720HD, ProgressiveScan, HDMI and Widescreen.
And it would be nice to ditch my giant Silver dinasaur heavy beast of a TV in favor of a piano Black gorgeous flat panel Samsung Plasma
It's just the Lag, upscaled image for Wii games and inferior(slightly) motion that are holding me back. The Lag may be minor though, yet it was brutal on my friends Vizio plasma....PS
: I'd rather get the C430
as it doesn't have the TOC and i'm guessing it's cheaper because it's lacking a few extra inputs
