No mention of what I showed, plus it says only RCN updated their system, yet Cox is doing the same thing, and plus I spoke to the media relations guyhttp://pr.tivo.com/easyir/customrel....jsp=custom_150
who directed me to the links I posted and said that TiVo was taking an alternative approach to the same outcome.
First time TiVo poster here:
I am actually considering the TiVo Premiere now with the new pricing $99 + 20/mo
Also because Cox may actually provide OnDemand through the TiVo. But will the current TiVo Premiere be able to access Cox VOD when/if they proceed, or will a different model be built, I am assuming it is just a software download from TiVo or Cox.http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/12/c...irst-with-cab/
I am somewhat skeptical about the Cisco TA. I really wanted a Moxi and a Mate for the longest time, but was not willing to give up the third tuner, and not wanting to wait for the new Cisco TA.
Now with the price drop it has me looking. Cox will not provide any info on the Cox-TiVo deal and TiVo said to contact Cox, so I am at an impasse here.
Also wondering if the TiVo can tune the new Cox "Plus Package" channels in the 860MHz - 1GHz range.
Anyone with info on how the Cisco TA works in Phoenix would be appreciated.
