Mine also came with 2. The owners manual only states it comes with one. There is only one diagram for attaching this. The diagram only shows the core near the back of the set (within 2 inches). It does not show the cord looped around or the addition of a second core. I have the same model as you. My build date is July 2010. Yours?

But it was the cheapest 10 outlet powerstrip I could find that had network protection also. (You can find it online for less than half MSRP.)

LOL like that! I purchased my 58c7000 10 days ago and noticed a buzz. I ran everything through my Furman power conditoner and it help alot but still feel I should not have to go through that just to get a buzz level down to a point to watch my TV. I went to hhgreg last night to either exchange or go with another model. The first guy at the desk noticed I had the extended 3 year warranty and thought it would be best to try using that first to see if it could be fix if not he said Samsung would replace it. (I was not going that route just to lose my other option of returning it in 14 days. Plus I should not have to use my warranty within a couple of days of owning product.) The manager came over and asked me how he could help and when the staffer explained situation and told him what he suggested the manager said NO we will take it back and make it right. He stated this was the second one returned THAT DAY for buzzing issue. He was calling Samsung to voice their concern of why so many of these TV's are being returned. He suggested I go with the Panasonic G25. Anyone know how this model compares to the Samsung in picture?
