Yes, In the store as well. Like I said, I was set up in a listening room in London Drugs and had two brand new
VT25's rolled out to listen to. Both of them buzzed. The other two panels I had I heard the buzz slightly while in Best Buy..But once I put it in my quite room I realized it was going to drive me nuts.
The display model
VT25 at London Drugs also buzzed while playing the Incredibles on Blu Ray.. I noticed it even on the floor with all the noises going on from the radio, other tv's, etc...
VT25's listened to with the same amount of buzz.
Also on that same point I've rotated power bars and that didn't seem to be the issue.. I'm currently using a standard Monster power brick. Remember as well my previous TV was an older Panasonic Plasma (TH-42PZ77U) and it didn't buzz or humm whatsoever.
I also have a G10 in the basement with ZERO buzz. of course, that's also a bit of an older Panny (Maybe two years now?). My brother has a Panasonic S20 which is a newer-ish TV and there is ZERO buzz.
It's not that I don't think a VT25 that doesn't buzz isn't out there.. But if I have to go through the pain of exchanging twenty of them till I find the winner it's just not worth the time and effort.
So Either they start making them with consistently no buzzing, or I get older and the Buzz frequency I hear just dies in my ears (I'm 21 now). For now I may just go with the Sony Bravia XBR HX909 52'.
