battery life for kodak playsport (zx3)

i am planning to buy a mini camcorder.
but i want to see the battery life of the
zx3. please.
i couldn't find it anywhere

Are they being sold yet? I suspect only Kodak employees or tester have such an answer.

I can't imagine that it would be substantially different than the Zi8 and I get about an hour out of mine.

I have one. I got it from amazon. They were selling the black one last week. I have yet to drain the battery fully as I haven't used it much but I so far have got about an hour out of it, and have less than half of the battery charge remaining.

I just got mine yesterday and charged it full last night. I haven't had a chance to fully test it out, but after just 5 min of playing with it, the indicator already shows not full. I'm not sure what this means in terms of actual battery life. My iPod on a full charge shows a fully green battery for a while before starting to decrease. Anybody else have this experience?

Anyone know if there are replacement batteries for the zx3, or if it'll accept zi8 batteries?

I bought one for a river trip a few weeks ago. I also purchased an additional battery from Kodak's webstore. It did fairly well, over 2 hours of video and 30-40 stills and had a good bit of charge left at the end of the trip. My only complaint is the zoom seems to have a "bump" in it about half way through the zoom. I think it is a switch from optical to digital zoom where the levels and image shift. Kind of annoying because you can't do a full wide to tight zoom.

In the category FWIW... There is no optical zoom.
