hey, thanks for the info on the "soap opera" effect, I guess this set just doesn't have it, no worries, I still love it though!

I just have a quick question about something I noticed recently with my PK550. While watching the Sopranos on DVD, and switching between camera angles during the same scene, I would sometimes notice what almost seemed like the brightness or contrast raising a little right after a camera angle change. I didn't notice this so much between scenes, although it's possible it was still happening.
I also watch the Sopranos DVDs on an LCD set in my bedroom, and never noticed the contrast/brightness shifting, so I don't think it is a problem with the source material, although I have only really noticed it with the Sopranos DVDs.
Anyway, I had Dynamic Contrast set to high, and I changed it to low, and I think the problem has now gone away, but I'll need to watch a little more to make sure. Has anyone else noticed these shifts in contrast/brightness between scenes/camera angle changes? Is there a name for this "problem"?
I have windows 7 and will try with 23hz. Which player are you using? Any advanced settings necessary?
