Oh good! glad to hear it. Mine has been rock solid since the stock board was replaced and I got it connected via the ups surge protection. I calibrated mine a while ago from a panasonic specific thread, since I don't have any hardware devices and did tweaks from that to my lighting and it looks great!
Thanks again for the sony settings for white balance you posted a while back. I tried those and the sony looks much more like the plasma now in terms of color accuracy.
P.S. My panny has turned a year old this past feb, and it will be 1 year from service this July.
The sony will also be a year in July, Keeping my fingers crossed that I will not be one of the ones where the panel dies after a year to 14 months of use. I've read numerous reviews about sony tvs of this happening this model and a couple other models too.
