Mits 3DC-1000 on any HDTV? No.

Will the 3DC-1000 work for any HDTV? So do you just plug the hdmi cable from your br player or Sat/cable stb to the 3DC-1000 then your HDTV via what connector to your HDTV?

No - the 3DC-1000 is for the Mits and Samsung 3D ready DLP RPTV's and a few of the Samsung 3D ready plasmas (but not all).

It will not work on any other HDTVs.

I have my RCA 40'' Lcd tv for 6 months now but i will like to see the 3d movies and show that are caming out this year ,but i have to buy another big screen tv that will be 3d ready.That is a waste of money because i already have a tv. i will like to know if is there a adapter or converter that will convert my 2d tv rca lcd to 3d ready in stead of buying a new tv?

I'm pretty sure Mits has said that the 3DA-1 adapter won't work with a Samsung DLP (some people here are going to test it with a Gefen detective though to see if that will get around it).

There is no converter to my knowledge that will make a "regular HD" tv into a 3D ready/capable one.

This is the kind of regret that I have been posting about for a while. Almost everyone here knew 6 months ago(when you bought your TV) that 3D was right around the corner. But too many people then were saying it's a fad, so get a good HDTV and be happy. Then, people like yourself realize that 3D IS something they want, and they wish that their recent investment was 3D capable. I bought a new TV last summer for my bedroom, BEFORE the new 3D standards were announced, and if I had known then what was coming, I would have waited. I'm sure that we'll be hearing more regret stories from people that bought a TV in the last 6 months---people that knew 3D was coming but yet still chose a 2D TV.

good point. i was lucky when i bought my mitt wd-65833 tv in 2007 when i got home i took the manual and started to read it it mentioned 3d ready so i went to the salesman i bought it from and he told me what it was for. i was excited about it but at the time there was nothing avaible yet. now that it is here my excitment is back now.
