the popcorn hour is the only one i truly want and need hooked up to it
is there anyway to set it up that it wont play through them at all and just play the popcorn hour or this is the only way to do it?
and if this is the only way to do it whats the point of connecting the popcorn hour directly to the sub and not keeping it connected to the tv since its playing through arc anyway not sure the benefits of connecting to the sub if i only can play through arc?
Okay, first off I don't think you understand ARC. All it does is replace the need to use an optical cable FROM
the TV TO
external audio when you already have an HDMI cable connected to send video TO
the TV. I'm assuming the popcorn hour streams 5.1 audio. That is the reason it's best to connect it directly to the CT150.
If you don't care about improved audio from your other sources, leave them connected to the TV and don't use the soundbar. However, since the TV and soundbar both support ARC, you have the option
of having the soundbar on when using those sources.
