Looking to replace the tweeter in my center speaker and maybe even my mains. I was leaning toward the B&G Neo3 but then started looking at the Neo8. The Neo8 is only rates up to 20kHz while the Neo3 is rated as high as 28kHz. I had also heard that the Neo8 starts dropping off after 15kHz. The Neo8 is a better fit for size and power handling for me, I just don't want to compromise the performance. It sounds like the Neo8 is used more for a mid driver. I would be crossing the tweeters over at about 7khz.
Has anyone used the Neo8 as a tweeter? Or would I be better off making up a plate and using 2 Neo3s instead?
