just got this unit on a J&R weekend sale.....specifically because it has the build-in HD codec decoders and can output to 8 analog audio channels !!! Woo-hoo, don't need no stink'n HDMI input on my older Sony ES 5.1 receiver....just use the direct in analog inputs.
