The article even mentions the possibility of AM HD portable tuners. I didn't think that was possible based on what I know about digital circuits and RF interference.
How about a combination Zune HD and Pocket PC cell phone with a slide-out keyboard like the one on the HTC Touch Pro2 phone? That would be my ideal portable device, if it had, say, 32GB built-in and a Micro SDHC slot.
