Sony's Bravia Internet Video: 55HX701. Is it just plugging the ethernet cable in?

from the Netflix site, it says: "BRAVIA® Internet Video: Instantly stream a wide variety of Free and On-demand entertainment when you connect your player to the internet. Choose from a large selection of providers 2 - including Netflix®."

there is an RJ45 plug in the back of the 55HX701: if i were to run a long ethernet wire from my PC router to my 55HX701, would it be that simple to "set up" the Netflix functionality to my 55HX701? is it pay-per-view? or is it included in anyone's Netflix subscription price?

thx!

yes that would be the easiest approach
it is on a pay per view basis

The Netflix is not pay per view. If you have a Netflix subscription, you can watch anything in your Instant Watch queue on your Bravia.

Whew! Thx Gai. Pay per view sounds like it would cost quite a bit to browse around and start a movie and end a movie early if one doesn't like it, right? Good thing it is not pay-per-view. Thx.

oops sorry that what I meant by pay per view....you pay for the service
to me Redbox is still the better bargain
