Rs1 problem...any ideas?????

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light. RS1 powers on....stays on but there is no projected image. The stanby light and warning light stay lit solid but the bulb light flashes consistantly. Any ideas????

It's not my projector so I don't know the history of bulb changes, etc.

Didn't know if this would help diagnose or if the individual should just upgrade at this point.

Sounds like the bulb is dead! The lamp door is open or maybe the projector over heated if it was on what this happened.

Thanks for your response Ron! It was a unit on Ebay that was going for $750.00. Not knowing the owner and history along with it being used in a restaurant/bar, scared me off. I'd rather wait a bit and get one from an HT guy in a smoke free home that I know has been well taken care of.
