URC-R50 w/ Onkyo HT-S9100THX setup help, PLEASE!!

Hi all. I'm trying to get the URC-R50 remote to turn on and off my S9100THX receiver, but no matter how I program it, it won't. None of the built-in codes work for it and after laboriously manually learning the original remote button by button, that doesn't do it either.

I'm in dire need here. Everything is set up beautifully, but powering on and off devices with this remote seems impossible. It doesn't power on/off my WDTV Live either. And it doesn't move up/down my movie screen. This seems like a great remote w/ all of the customizable macros, but if powering on/off devices is not an option, then it's gotta go. Any help would be massively appreciated!!

When u say "URC code," u don't mean the built-in codes that supposedly set up your remote automatically, do u? Coz NONE of the built-in codes work for the S9100THX. If I manually map it to a button on the LCD screen, will that work? I haven't tried that yet. Thanks for the reply!

Dude, ur my hero! That's been driving me crazy for a while now. Why isn't that anywhere in the flimsy instructions supplied w/ the remote?

Now to the 2nd part, the movie screen. It recognized and accepted the manual learning just fine AND it was mapped to an LCD button, but it still won't budge.
