Hello, I'm new to this forum, and have tried to search for other threads dealing with this model, but haven't seen any. I bought this TV refurbished a year and a half ago, and have always dealt with image retention issues, though it seems to get worse. After playing on my Playstation3 for about 40 minutes or so, bright effects tend to get very distorted (overly bright and flickery.) If I open and close the menu, the image retains on some of the brighter parts of the screen. Is this a common problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Here are some examples. When playing Final Fantasy 13, when I first start playing or in non well lit areas, the character looks like this:
But after a while, light effects get distorted, like this:
I can't get a clear shot of the image retention since its flickery and fades away sometimes after a few seconds. Any help would be appreciated!
