Why does my Vixia HG21 look terrible?

Check out some of my HD videos on youtube. Some of them were edited using Sony Vegas Pro 8 and the latest two (birthday party/cat outside) were edited using Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 14.


I just feel like the IQ sucks and it's not sharp at all. I generally shoot on "easy" mode

It's hard to tell with that YouTube video but I had an HF11 (same optics) and I was quite happy with the video quality outdoors. Your hands are very shaky though so that could have an effect as the IS tries to compensate.
