I wonder how Emotiva is doing nowadays in terms of sub sales. There doesn't seem to much talk about them any more on the forums. I have been enjoying my Ultra 10 since I purchased it last summer.

Not much I would guess. Who wants to pay $699 for a 12" sub with limited low end and high end extension, when there are other options.

Perhaps. Its a shame though because the Ultra line was so popular at its lower price points.

I for one can't wait till they have to blow out these new 12s! If its around the same price I'll be buying two for sure. They are better than the ultras and the ultras are the best 12"sub at its closing price.

I suspect when that happens, this thread will be getting bumped alot more often then. Perhaps they will learn their lesson should they still decide to produce the X-Ref 15

Yep Ultra12 at $329 shipped was the best deal and I still feel bad for not jumping on it and waiting for the X-Ref 12 review instead.

They are making X-Ref 15? That would be a mistake. They dont seem to learn anything from the past. Now they have the XMC-1 at $1499! Who will buy that at $1499? No Audyssey XT32, just 1 HDMI output. As usual, no detailed manual on their web site.

That would be nice, I just hope they don't get away from tight, clean, punch musical subs like they have going right now. BTW, every subwoofer company should have a lesson to learn unless they have the perfect sub.
