This horn will have similar output to the Auto Tuba but will play slightly lower in a similar sized package. Honestly you won't be disappointed with either horn. They will give surprising output for the 8" driver. Make sure that you run the high pass filter though to protect the driver from overexcursion.
Very cool. I've been doing A LOT of reading on here. I was tempted to snag a couple of the Anarchy 6 1/2"s since Kevin is closing shop, but this design will do my son fine. I haven't shown him Bill's stuff yet. I could see him doing one of those for the sake of having a table to use. We'll see.
I wish amps would say if they have a high pass or not. I was thinking of going with this one, because he will be using my old receiver for a while. He will need the high level input so he can use the crossover on the plate amp. Dayton SA100
