Thanks for clearing that up for me. I need to get a motherboard with optical out then. Any recommendations on motherboard/cpu combos? I'm building a 3DBR player and thats it. No gaming or other stuff.

How do you explain this post of Li on's using ATI 5xxx and playing Avatar BR??
So when TMT plays back a BR isn't it using Frame packing 3D format right from the BR disc?
BR 3D (MVC, not Frame packing) -> Player decodes, post-processes, then converts to an appropriate 3D video format -> graphics driver/GPU -> 3D display
All I want is to be able to play my 3D Blu Ray movie collection that have already been ripped to my 1TB HDD in .iso format (thanks to SlySoft), mounted to a virtual drive with Virtual Clone Drive.
Will the following HTPC configuration work?:
Intel Media Series Micro-ATX Motherboard Supporting Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RAID) BOXDH57DD.
MSI MSM GeForce GT 430 Graphics Card with 1 GB GDDR3 2000MHz Memory N430GT-MD1GD3-OC.
Intel Core i3 Processor i3-530 2.93GHz 4MB LGA1156 CPU BX80616I3530.
Corsair 4GB Dual Channel Corsair DDR3 Memory for Intel Core i5 Processors (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9).
Corsair Memory Cx Series Compatible With Intel Core I7 and Core I5 ATX 600 Energy Star Certified Power Supply CMPSU-600CX.
Total Media Theatre 5
Windows 7 32 bit (Also have 64 bit).
My TV: Panasonic 50" Plasma TC-P50GT25 (With 2 pairs of the Panasonic (rechargeable) 3D active shutter glasses.) It's listed as a compatable TV for the GT 430 card (with FW 260.99 or higher.)
Thanks for listening. :-)
