Not sure why the receiver options sometimes goes to off. If someone could explain this I would appriciate it. Maybe a setting I'm missing.
It was the post related to this problem with some explanation but I am not able to find it quickly. Verify if you have in "Software Upgrade" menu "Standby Mode Upgrade" set to off. For the Onkyo TX-SR508 Receiver it helped for me - when setting was set to 2 hours by default, from time to time, Receiver was not started automatically by HDMI-CEC and I had to do it manually from the Tools menu to have ARC working. But for Yamaha RX-V467 automatic start when C7000 is started is not working at all. I have to always start it from the TV's Tools HDMI-CEC menu.
I repeat my question from my previous post:
"...I noticed one difference: Onkyo seemed to go to standby slower than Yamaha. It is possible that TV gets information about RX-V467 reaching standby much quicker than it expects and marks that device was powered off by the user manually. In such case TV does not start it automatically next time, but it is possible to start it manually later from tv's HDMI-CEC menu. I will be happy to have all devices waking up together.
If you are using HDMI Control could you share your experience? I wonder if it works with other configurations or maybe someone has similar problem. "
