So now it has me wondering if I just have my settings off. I freely admit I am not an expert when it comes to settings, but I have always been very pleased with my picture.
I use the standard mode (tried to use movie but not matter what I did, I preferred standard).
Here are some of my settings:

I know its subjective and dependent on your setting/lighting, etc, but does anything look out of whack with those basic settings?
As a follow up on my earlier post, I have been seeing the pink/purple banding/tinting when viewing white backgrounds.
With my warranty up in two weeks, I decided to go ahead and contact Samsung and now have a service appointment scheduled.
I am a little apprehensive about it- anyone who has had this specific problem looked at and repaired, what can I expect? What exactly are they going to do when
they come out?
The thing is, I LOVE my TV, other than the pink banding on white backgrounds. Being that most of the time I notice this it is on commercials, I thought about just living with it. But when I noticed that when watching hockey the white ice wasn't as white as it should be, so I figured I would at least have someone come out and look at it before my warranty is up
I am just wondering exactly what they might do to try and fix the problem- I have heard a few people say that the fix they tried actually affected the TV in a negative way.
I want the pink/purple banding fixed, but everything else about the TV is awesome and I just don't want some sub-par or inexperienced repair person messing up the TV!
Thanks in advance
