3D Implications for LCD with 480 Hz

I note that LG is promoting their LCD LED 3D TVs coming out in late May/June as having 480 Hz, a feature they term, "TruMotion." Given the cross talk issues that have plagued Samsung's LCD 3D TVs can we assume that with 480 Hz the LG LCD will perform more closely to the Panasonic 3D when it comes to minimizing cross talk?

The 480Hz rating may only be for 2D. Their 3DTVs may work the same way as the Samsung - drop down to 120Hz/60 per eye using the black frame insertion method.
