Can you upgrade the hard drive in a Motorola VIP1225?

I am a Uverse subscriber, and have the newer Motorola VIP1225 with a 250GB HD. Can I upgrade that to a 1TB hard drive? If so, what would I have to do (if anything) to the new hard drive? Thanks in Advance
