good evening. long time a/v lover and watcher - first post!

i am soon to be the proud new papa of a samsung pn58c550 - i got an amazing deal on it and am anxious to have it mounted.

the mount i am looking at is the chief LTTU because of the .75" mounting depth. however, after doing some reading i am concerned that this will not be enough depth for the TV to properly ventilate and may either cause problems with the TV or damage the wall.

anyone have info on this? this is the mount chief recommends for a low profile installation and the samsung customer service agent i spoke to said they offer no advice on installation except that the TV needs to be well ventilated.

as a note, there is nothing else (besides speakers) on the wall around the TV - there is a minimum of 6" before any airflow is potentially obstructed.

i know plasmas can run hot - so: thoughts from the experts here?
