I have a Samsung SPN4235 Plasma tv.
Recently there was a pop from the back and the picture is blotchy/cloudy and very dark. I cannot adjust up the brightness to make any significant difference.
I am looking to repair it myself, but having issues identifing/confirming the part that is the issue. My gut says power supply, but I am unable to find any caps on it that are bulged, except the 4 rather huge ones on the power supply that all seem uniform in shape.
If someone would be kind enough to lend their knowledge I would appreciate it, I have taken pictures of the powersupply when I had it out.
I have seen threads in the LCD section on pressure causing this, but I have loosed screws that I thought would cause stress on the chassis.
Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
