Ampilifier warm-up?

I have a B&K reference 7250 amp (200W x 5) with an intergra DTC 9.8 Pre/Pro and it seems like when I first turn on the amp, its really soft and gets louder as it warms up. Is this normal? How do I know if my 7250 is performing the way its supposed to?

I have never had a solid state amp work that way. I seem to recall some tube gear that worked that way from my youth.

Electronics definitely change character as they warm up, but they are generally designed so that the user does not notice that fact!

If I were you, I would email the mfg, and ask if that's normal behavior.
