And McDonald's coffee is hot. We get it. LOL

There's also a warning on most video games about seizures. We live in the law-suit era.

While not drunk, I watch 3D while drinking beer all the time, doesn't bother me.

Well....I'm old and often drunk, so that could be a problem.

Ahh, you're not going to feel the side effects anyway, you're still good!

What a load of horse pucky!

I'm old (58) and when I get drunk (been quite a while since I did that) I had no problems with TV - nor will I expect to have any with 3DTV . . .

I sit on my couch, close my eyes and LISTEN to the TV. . .

And hope the room doesn't start spinning.

Hell, I'd have to say that nearly all of my movie viewing (on the projector) is done while I'm enjoying the cocktail(s) of my choice. Can't imagine that'll change once I get a 3D projector. Of course, if I suddenly stop posting after I tell everyone that I got a new 3D projector, then you'll know the warning was legit.

LOL --

Viewing in 3D mode may cause disorientation for some viewers. DO NOT place your television near open stairwells, cables, balconies or other objects that may cause you to injure yourself

I often watch tv, while sitting in an open stairwell ....

Lee, I too am 58 but, apparently unlike you, I am not old. Like a fine wine or a good Scotch, I am just reaching in to my prime years.

As for the getting drunk part, I enjoy a few drinks, and putting a good concert DVD in the system, sitting back and flashing back to the days of my youth when I wasn't smart enough to stop in time. Frankly, I don't think there will be a difference between 2D and 3D unless the 3D provides 'improved flashbacks' to chemically enhanced days of my youth. I am all for that, I think.

As for really getting drunk, I don't think that is possible at our 'refined' age. After I have a few drinks these days, I usually get tired and fall asleep. I doubt I could stay awake long enough to get seriously drunk like the old days, and for that I am eternally grateful.

No website disclosed that in reality, the disclaimer is just an almost verbatim copy of a 2006 Icuiti (pictured above) owner's manual for a totally different product: a stereo microdisplay (glasses with built tiny LCD screen for each eye). Here's the link.

This is hardly a new warning or new information. Similarities between the two issued guidelines can be seen below.
