NAB 2010: Sony Showcasing Professional 3D Monitors

At the currently underway NAB Show in Las Vegas, Sony is demonstrating two professional LCD 3D monitors, the 24” LMD-2451TD and the 42” LMD-4251TD. The Sony 3D monitors utilize ChromaTRU color matching technology and offer the user an LCD with an IPS panel and a wide viewing angle. The displays offer a Full HD 2D and 3D resolution of 1920 x 1080p and an optional dual stream HD-SDI interface. The technology supports signals including 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 1080/24PsF, and 1080/23.98PsF formats.

The two 3D monitors incorporate a micro-polarizer 3D filter attached to the LCD panel and will come with circular polarized 3D viewing glasses to view 3D content on the display.
