Hmmm - seems odd. Now shows 83.3% available I had been trickling for quite a while but just had a spike of 1.7M but back now again to under 50K

That's because you are not connected to Steve (the one and only seed). You are only connected to peers. As the peers that are connected to Steve get more of the blocks, your % available will continue to increase. If you were connected to Steve you would see 100% available.

Anything special I need to do to get the torrent started, It goes to start then it stops and says permission denied?

I plan on downloading this and using my HTPC to stream it. Any advice on using media browser to play this? Tips or tricks to run it flawlessly

Sorry, my bad, updated my torrent program and had existing torrents pointing to a non existent folder. Deleted all the old ones and restarted/added and it seems to be working now, sorry.

So are other seeing Steve? I was seeing him up until earlier today but all I see are others at arround same download % as me but availability seem to be trickling forward (now see 83.9%).

You know, as I sit here and watch you guys work, I just want to say that you're all doing a fine job. Yes sir , that's some mighty fine work you guys are doing. If I could get up the the gumption to get out of my chair I'd pat you all on the back.

No don't do that - you need to save your gumption to actually make progress in your HT. Getting up might set you make to an even more distant reality.

I'm only seeing about 50 peers in a swarm of 170. (Here at my slow work connection. I'm not sure what it looks like at home.) I checked my settings and I'm maxed at 90 peers, so I don't know why I'm only seeing 50. I'm not seeing Steve's seed, and the max percentage of the peers I do see is only 83.4, but I'm sure it will all work itself out in the end.

While I don't use media browser, I'll try to help. You can create an iso using isoburn with the "create iso from folders" selection. Use a virtual mounting program like daemon or virtualclone to mount the image. You'll also need to setup media browser to play from the selected virtual drive using this link. http://community.mediabrowser.tv/per...w-does-it-work

From there, I'd assume it's as easy as putting the iso in a media folder that media browser reads from and selecting to play the "movie". From there the virtual drive software will mount the iso movie and media browser will autoplay it.

**Also, I believe you'll either need powerdvd or totalmediatheater installed to play the iso. If you don't have, or have access to either of those, you're next best may be to reencode the disc to .mkv which is a fairly lengthy process and not a really easy process for first-timers.

It just means that Steve fell outside of the number of peers you have in your client. I had mine set to 50 and changed it to 200 and am now seeing both Steve and 83 peers. I have heard that going beyond seeing more than 50-70 peers is too many ongoing connections and can slow down your speeds unless you've got a beefy connection.

BTW... I've now got 9 parts at 100%.
