component under mounts?

First off let me apologize if this is in the wrong forum or has been discussed before. I tried the search here and Google and could not find what I wanted.

I am looking for something I can use to mount my DVD player, cable box, etc underneath of an occasional table. This one actually:

I am looking for something that I can attach to the underside of this and will hold my equipment, with minimal visibility of the "stand/bracket".

Something like this would be great, but that one is meant to attach to the back of a TV and not to the underside of a cabinet.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I would just install a shelf below the drawers, either out of wood (stained to match the table's finish or just painted satin black) or maybe a piece of 1/4" thick tempered glass. I had a local glass shop make a tempered glass shelf ($20) then installed it in the open area under my end table using four little shelf pegs like you find in unassembled book cases - you just drill a hole in the wood and the peg is a tight fit. I also used the L-shaped type to add wood shelves to a TV credenza at my workplace to hold the digital converter box. I got these pegs and brackets at my local hardware store.

Thanks Randy, I just might have to go that route. I was hoping there would be a clean solution already out there. Is an adjustable under mount bracket too much too ask?

Yeah I've looked at those, doesn't really match the look I'm going after.

Hey guys, just wanted to bump this because I finally got around to getting a custom piece of glass and building a shelf underneath of the occasional table.

Here is a picture of the completed project. I need to spend a bit more time hiding the cables but overall I think it looks good.
