Hey guys! First of all I would like to thank all who has contributed to this thread. I am a regular reader of this forum and thought that I should at least contribute some of my thoughts for all the info that I've received.
I received my 55' C650 a few days ago (actually ordered 2 months ago but Samsung had no stock, had to wait a very frustrating 2 months...
). I first noticed this TV next to a Sony EX500, the PQ and colours were noticably better than the Sony and along with positive reviews I decided to buy it. But when i received the TV I was a bit disappointed at the backlight bleed and the glossiness of the screen (AA01 panel), nevertheless the PQ was great. There are two vertical bands of backlight bleed on both sides of the tv roughly 1/4 of the width of the screen, its noticable even when viewed straight-on, but is not too bad once adjustments are made. Viewing angle is average, around 10 degrees on either side of dead-on, but again is not too bad. The UCP is a bit distracting but I can get used to it. Overall I am pleased with this TV. I can post some of my photos of the tv if anyone wants it.
Thanks skibum for your settings it worked well with my set, but I adjusted a bit of gamma, backlight and contrast to suit my taste.
