You can order it on Amazon now for around 1500 dollars not including glasses though.

Now we talking as price is good for me to get one of these:

So you can add either:

$300 for two pair of battery powered glasses

$350 for the Starter Kit with MvA promotional 3D BD

$400 for two pair of rechargable glasses

And of course a 3D BD player if so desired.

I just ordered one from Amazon with the Samsung Bluray Player and Starter Pack (plus NY sales Tax...) for about 1900.

That's not bad at all (I took the promotion for the starter kit). It's a good deal.

I'm wondering about buying this unit.
I'd appreciate a good test before...

It's top of the line LCD from Samsung so you can't wrong with this tv.

It is the only LCD 3D model Samsung offers.
The also have 3 C7000, 8000, and 9000 LED 3D model TV with the C9000 being their top of the line 3D TV.

besides the price

No LEDs?

I'd be curious to hear about this model's 3-D performance. The price is right.

I haven't done any extreme testing on the LED models outside of watching the BestBuy Monsters Vs. Aliens 3D Demo but I do own the C750 LCD and I can tell you the 3D performance is fantastic. Yes there is ghosting but the same places ghosting is a problem with the LED is apparent on the LCD and no "additional scenes" that I know of have ghosting problems just on the regular LCD.

I did manage to get rid of most of the ghosting by updating the firmware on the Samsung Bluray player and setting the correct TV size (by default it's 55"). Here is a tip for those with the Samsung 3D Bluray Player, if you don't mind sacrificing some 3D Effects, set the TV size to something smaller than your TV is, you will see less ghosting (It seems like a depth adjustment apparently).

Quick review from Home Theater mag:

Full review will be in the July 2010 issue.

Edit: sorry, this is for the 8000 series, not 750
