Screen wall cover up panel help

I've built a very minimal screen wall and now need to build the fabric cover up panels to hide the speakers etc. However, I'm having a very hard time making the frames.

What would do people normally use for this? I am trying to use 1.5 x.75 mdf strips, but I don't think they will have good enough holding power in the corners.

Any tips, it seems tough since they have to be narrow and thin.

I used 1"x3" poplar screwed together with pocket screws.

Lowes has a small Kreg kit and the pocket screws. Add a corner clamp and you'll be all set to make strong joints.

You can make them on plywood or other wood frames and then use a brad gun to attach them. You won't see the brad nail head once they are in place.

Read through this thread. Very detailed on how one member constructed his fabric panels.

I built my frames with the Pre-Primed finger joined pine exterior trim boards, I usually ripped the bigger boards down to about 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 or so but I used various sizes.

Thanks all for the tips and the pics. BigmouthinDC. I used your wall as a reference for building my screen wall, so the pics help. I don't think I have the ability to do the finger joints though, so I may just try to get the pocket jig tomorrow and scrap the mdf pieces I wanted to use.
