LG 37LC2D Problem - PLEASE HELP!

Hi.

I have got an LG 37LC2D TV. There seems to be a problem with the HDMI connection to my Sky HD Box.

I have only being using the HDMI socket for my PS3 recently and I have had no problems.
This week I have Sky HD installed. It was working fine for around half an hour and then cut out. The TV displays 'No Signal' however the SKY HD is still running. At one point it came back on and then cut out again.

I took out the HDMI cable from the Sky HD and plugged it into my PS3. This seems to work fine.

Cant get my head around this.

The TV is around 3-4 years old.

Will appreciate any help. Thanks!!

I have the same problem. Sky worked for a couple of weeks and now, after 10 - 15 minutes "No Signal" Sky have replaced the box and cable, still no joy.

Many people have this same problem with cable boxes and hdtvs here in the US. What we do is use red/green/blue component cables instead of HDMI. Often HDMI has handshake problems with changing signals from station to station, whereas PS3 or blu causes no problems with HDMI as it's a static signal.

The highest resolution we get from broadcast is 1080i, so component is fine as it carries that HD signal.

Try it, you may find it works for you too. Just be sure to adjust your tv's picture settings if you change as they may vary a little from HDMI to component.
