Hey Guys, me and the wife have been working on this for the past month (weekends only :S). Hope you like it.

Basically there was nothing in the room.
All the equipment is in a nook underneath the stairs and is controlled via a harmony 890.

Looks great! What equipment are you using? Hopefully your sub won't rattle your receiver off the shelf. You've got a nice size room, what are the dimensions?

I think that's a PC on his shelf and not a sub.

The room looks nice and you even have room for back row it appears.

Are you going to add rear surrounds for 7 speakers? What size is your screen?

I think he was referring to the fact that the front legs of the receiver are partway off the shelf and seems a bit precarious

Are you adding more seating in the back?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the warm sentiments. The room is around 12' x 22'.

And yeah, that is an HTPC. The sub is on the other corner on the room (front right). The equipment is on a room (below the stairs) next to this one on the left rear.

Right now a have a not-so-powerful receiver. It's a Yamaha RX-V467 (I can't remember the exact model). It's a 5.1, but I wired for 7.1, so when I upgrade it won't be a hassle.

The screen is a DIY Wilson Art Designer White, it's around 100"

The projector is a HD66 from Optoma.

I plan on adding a small bar / casual seating area on the back, but I need to recover from all the expense, lol.

It's a pretty conservative theater compared to the rest of you guys', but I like it

Oh, I also put in a Lutron IR dimmer, so the Harmony remote can control that as well.

Yep, I was referring to the front feet hanging half off (I'm a pessimist) of the shelf. Depending on his display of LFE, I could see it rattling right off the shelf. I'd hate to see robtrevino get stuck with 7 years bad luck with a broken receiver, and mirror.

By the time the receiver shakes off the shelf, it will be time for an upgrade anyway, right?
