Currently I have a JVC RX-8020V receiver, Polk monitor 70 fronts, CS2 center, and KLH-9250 rears. The room has 1530 cubic ft. of space. I will replace the rear speakers in the future. Can anyone help me choose a sub?

I'm more worried about quality then price. I'm just looking for options that would be a good choice.

Even a rough budget would be helpful b/c there are quite a few good subs at different price points. A couple other things you may want to think about are the physical size of the sub(and its fit and finish) and how deep you want it to be able to play.

I'm looking for something that will go well with my Polk audio speakers and I won't have to replace for a very long time. I want it to be able to play deep. I was thinking a 12 inch sub. A black finish is what I want. Maybe 500 to 600 bucks at the most.

sounds like one of my questions over a year ago.. not sure how big your space is... i see your cubic feet.. but does it ope to other areas of the house... if so you might need a second sub just to help fill the room... this is what was repeatedly told to me when i was searching.. i currently have dual 12's

HSU VTF-2 MK3 is on sale for $509. In a room that size, this sub will knock your socks off. Possibly literally. While still sounding incredible, of course.

Price on Hsu may go up tomorrow to its regular price.

look into getting dual Premier Acoustic PA120's 12" subs....a pair of these will be great....great response,, smoother bass,, low extension... and they come in black with a piano finish on top
